MNSS SNOWBOARDER CHAS GULDEMOND WINS 2011 OAKLEY ARCTIC CHALLENGE
The Sports Syndicate’s Chas Guldemond stood atop the podium at the Oakley Arctic Challenge in Oslo, Norway. The win secured him a position at The World Snowboarding Championships. Guldemond held onto the lead through the entire finals executing a near perfect first run. The run combined his signature technical style through the rail section and huge airs in the jump section. Off the step-down he nailed his cab 1260 and flawlessly executed a double backside rodeo on the last hit. Chas had this to say about his win, "I'm really happy with the way I rode and to stay in first place through the last run really means a lot to me. I think it was my day today and it all came together perfect. What an amazing experience.” Up next for Chas are the US Open at Stratton, VT March 3-7, 2011 and Winter X Games Europe in Tignes, France March 16-18, 2011.
