MNSS SNOWBOARDERS TORSTEIN HORGMO, MARK MCMORRIS, AND CHAS GULDEMOND SWEEP BRECKENRIDGE DEW TOUR SLOPESTYLE

The Sports Syndicate’s Torstein Horgmo, Mark McMorris and Chas Guldemond swept the men’s snowboard slopestyle competition at the first stop of the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, CO. Torstein’s first place run included a switch frontside double cork 10, a switch backside 9 and a front ten double cork. His highly technical run impressed the fans and judges alike. Mark is a seventeen-year-old Canadian rider who began working with The Sports Syndicate in the off-season. The Dew Tour was his debut in a major U.S. competition. He seemed to have the course on lock and stepped it up in the adverse weather conditions. His smooth double backflips and double corks resonated with the judges and gave him an impressive second place finish. Chas, in his typical solid style launched massive backside 10’s with lofty airs and spins to claim the third place position. Be on the lookout for Torstein, Mark and Chas at the next Dew Tour stop in Killington, VT from January 20-23, 2011 as well as Winter X Games 14 in Aspen, CO from January 27-30, 2011.
