The Sports Syndicate’s, Pierre Luc Gagnon (PLG) started the 2010 skate season off with a history making performance by winning 2 Gold Medals in Shanghai, China. In the Inaugural Mega-Mini Ramp, PLG scored a perfect 100 with a switch-frontside-heelflip-180 over the gap into a huge kickflip-bodyvarial-540 on the quarterpipe. After winning Saturday's Mini-MegaRamp competition, Gagnon added yet another Gold Medal to his collection in the Skateboard Vert final with a score of 85.00 in front of a record crowd of 58,400. With consistent and technical tricks, Gagnon became the first X Games Asia athlete in its 12-year history to win two gold medals at the same event. "I am really excited about this! It's a great way to get the season started. It was great to compete here- the crowds were amazing, such a great experience, "" said Gagnon. Next up for Pierre is the first stop of the Dew Tour in Boston, June 25-27th.
